Training and Documents
The Office of Student Life offers training for student leaders to build their own capacity, and subsequently of their group, through a leadership program called Ulead. Also, there are certain documents that student leaders may need to use during their time as a student leader.Ulead*: Building your Student Group
Ulead is a leadership development initiative that is comprised of a Conference, Orientation, Leadership Series and Newtorking Opportunities. There are also tipsheets on various topics that can be of use to student leaders. Please visit the Ulead website for more information!

New U Conference
New U is coordinated by students and staff from the various campuses, colleges, and faculties from all three U of T campuses. The conference program includes a variety of workshops, discussions, and featured speakers who will help you connect with students, organizations and staff on campus. There will be opportunities to meet other student leaders, network, and establish relationships for future collaboration. For inquiries on New U, please email leadearship@utoronto.ca.

Here you will find a copy of the Policy on the Recognition of Campus Groups, as well as the guidelines we provide campus groups for creating a group constitution. It is important that the policy and these guidelines be followed in order to ensure that your group is recognized. If your group has any questions regarding recognition, creating your group's constitution, or other campus group issues, please contact the Campus Groups Officer by e-mail at groups.officer@utoronto.ca or by phone at 416-946-7755.

Student leaders of campus groups are highly recommended to take part in the Ulead program.
