Transportation and Transit Options:
Due to the availability of the TTC to get from UTSG to UTSC we will not be providing buses – this helps us keep our costs down and allows participants to schedule their departure at a convenient time for them around work and other commitments. TTC directions are included below. We are providing a bus from UTM to UTSC because of the distance and difficulty of using multiple transit systems to make this journey. Email arrangements for the UTM->UTSC bus were emailed out last week. If you need to take the UTM->UTSC bus and have not indicated please email me immediately to arrange this.

Registration and Late Arrivals:
Registration is from 4:00 – 6:00 pm on Friday afternoon in the Student Centre (look for signs). Please time your arrival with sufficient time to register and check-in to your town house. The registration table will be available after 6 pm for later arrivals and Saturday morning for anyone who cannot make it on Friday night. Please note the Conference Opening begins at 6:00 pm on Friday.
Accommodations:
We will be staying in lovely town house styles residences – that means, you’ll each have your own room and bed (with bedding and pillows) and will share a common space with 3 other delegates. To accommodate both 1) participants’ wishes to be mixed with other organizations and 2) participants’ wishes to be with their own organization we have assigned a pair of delegates from one organization with a pair of delegates from another organization to each town house. Wireless internet will be available. Room keys will be given to you upon registration.
What to Bring:
- a pen or notebook
- a travel mug/reusable bottle for beverages
- toiletries
- a towel
Multi-faith Prayer Space:
If you wish to access multi-faith prayer space while at New U you can find it in the UTSC Student Centre (SL) on the 2nd floor, rooms 279 and 281.
Parking Permits:
For those student who requested parking permits, please pull up to the Student Centre and come to the registration table to receive your parking permit. Parking permit costs will be covered by the conference organizers.
Conference Ending:
NEW: The conference will end at approximately 12:00 pm on Sunday afternoon (one hour earlier than previously stated).
Conference Payment:
Your organization will be invoiced the participation cost for each delegate so you do not need to bring cash, cheque or credit card with you to pay. The conference price is $50 for participants that attend the majority of sessions and submit their participation tracking sheet upon check-out; otherwise the conference cost is $75 per participant.
Cancellations:
If you are no longer able to make it to New U, please let us know so we can adjust our food and residence numbers accordingly. If you are not attending and someone will be attending in your place, please email me immediately to let me know. Unfortunately refunds will not be offered for late cancellations.
