Graduate Student Programs
As a graduate student, your time at the University of Toronto will be intellectually stimulating and academically rewarding. However, life as a graduate student can also be a stressful and socially-isolating experience. Student Life Programs is here to help!
While almost everything we do is open to students at all levels of study, we recognize the unique learning needs of graduate students by offering programming designed specifically for students in master's and doctoral programs.
Gradlife
Formerly known as the Graduate Student Initiative (GSI), Gradlife is a program designed to help you navigate graduate student life at the University of Toronto. The program is composed of specialized workshops, social events, and online resources that cover both academic and non-academic issues. More information >>Gradlife also produces an annual publication catered to graduate students. The publication is available at your graduate department or Student Life offices, and you can download an electronic version: gradNAV: Navigating Graduate Student Life.
Grad Escapes
Run in partnership with the Graduate Students' Union, Grad Escapes invites you to explore the cultural riches of Toronto in the company of other stressed out grad students -- at the cheapest prices possible. Events run year-round, often include a social component, and are hosted by one of the Grad Escapes staff or volunteers.
