Profile Information
In my role on the communications team, I am responsible for developing, managing and delivering high-quality content that supports the strategic goals of the Office of Student Life. Social media is a large part of what I do, and I am a big fan of Twitter, and, of course the Student Life blog UpbeaT, for which I manage an outstanding team of student bloggers. I’m also responsible for feeding news about Student Life to central Strategic Communications, so if you have a story that should be heard, let me know, and we can arrange a press release or an article in The Bulletin. I have a bachelor’s degree in Journalism from Carleton University, and completed a Master of Education from OISE in 2009. I worked as a publisher, editor and writer before coming to U of T part-time in 2001. Since then, I have worked here as a Learning Skills Counsellor, a first-year program coordinator, a communications officer, and recently spent a year as the Senior Communications Officer at the Faculty of Medicine.
