Accessibility Services requires dependable volunteer note-takers in order to help students living with a disability achieve academic success. Only students registered with Accessibility Services, with the accommodation of receiving notes for their courses, will be able to access this site. You are not required to do any extra work in order to volunteer. The only requirements are that you attend your classes regularly and submit your notes consistently. Past volunteers report that their participation in this service has improved their own academic work, making their notes more comprehensive and detailed.
For your service, you will be eligible to receive a Certificate of Appreciation and verification of your participation as a volunteer. Many professors also recognize their student’s efforts to assist their fellow classmates.
