How to contact your Accessibility Advisor
There are a few different ways to contact your Accessibility Advisor depending on your specific needs.
Appointment
Make an appointment with your Accessibility Advisor to discuss:
- Requests to update your medical documentation
- Services
- Completing the Bursary for Students with Disabilities (BSWD) application form
- Changes to your academic accommodations
- Reducing your course load
- The impact of your disability on your academic work
- Referrals for assessments
Drop-in
Visit during your Accessibility Advisor’s drop-in times to:
- Get signatures on forms or sign forms
- Submit updated documentation
- Problem solve time-sensitive issues (test and exam accommodations, extensions, petitions or other issues)
- Request clarification about academic accommodations, processes and policies
- Pick up letters, forms and information about events and resources
- Discuss referrals to see a Learning Strategist, the Adaptive Technologist, or a tutor
Email
Email your Accessibility Advisor to:
- Renew accommodations (when documentation is up-to-date)
- Update contact information
- Request clarification of information
- Provide information relating to accommodations
- Problem-solve around disability-related academic issues
- Share your academic accomplishments!
