Interested in exploring what it means to be an entrepreneur? Whether you’d like to start a business or are searching for ways to apply creativity in the workplace, entrepreneurial competencies like creativity, curiosity, and courage are essential for navigating the career development process.
Being your own boss and innovating in the workplace gives you an opportunity to follow your passion, create your own work-life balance, choose who you work with and see your ideas in action. In fact, in today’s job market, because many people work on contracts and in non-traditional work environments, you need to think like an entrepreneur, manage your finances, in some cases define your work space and promote your personal brand wherever you go.
