U of T offers four Joint Minors which are available exclusively at the National University of Singapore (NUS) — a highly regarded university where classes are taught in English.  With a Joint Minor, the credit and grade from your term at NUS may be posted to your U of T transcript, which means less academic risk. 

1. Joint Minor – Nanoscience (CHM)

With a basis in Chemistry and Physics, this new Faculty of Arts & Science program offers you the option of minoring in Nanoscience in a different cultural and geographical setting. This joint minor is completed at NUS during the winter semester of your 2nd or 3rd year and it involves a combination of coursework and a research project.

 

2. Joint Minor – Biology (EEB)

With a basis in Biology and Studies of the Environment, this new Faculty of Arts & Science program offers you the option of minoring in Environmental Biology in a different cultural and geographical setting. This joint minor is completed at NUS during the winter semester of your 2nd or 3rd year, and it involves a combination of coursework and a field studies course.

 

3. Joint Minor – Asian Geographies (GGR)

With a basis in Geography (Social Science), this new Faculty of Arts & Science program offers you the option of minoring in Asian Geographies in a different cultural and geographical setting. This joint minor is completed at NUS during the winter semester of your 2nd or 3rd year and it involves a combination of coursework and optional field studies.

 

4. Joint Minor – Asian Literatures and Cultures (ENG)  CANCELLED for 2017-18

With a basis in Literature, this new Faculty of Arts & Science program offers you the option of minoring in Asian Literatures in a different cultural and geographical setting. This joint minor is completed at NUS during the fall semester of your 2nd, 3rd or 4th year and it involves a combination of coursework and optional field studies.

 

To pursue a Joint Minor at NUS, you may enrol in the Type 3 Subject POSt after your first year and apply for a term abroad  separately.
