U of T Residence descriptions
Each campus has its own distinct residential communities and styles of residential living.
- U of T St. George residents live in one of the seven colleges, in Chestnut Residence, or in Student Family Housing.
- U of T Mississauga has more than 1,500 students living in residence, and offers three different housing options: residence halls, townhouses or apartments.
- U of T Scarborough residents live less than a two minute walk from academic buildings and the accommodations are either townhouses or apartment suites.

This is the place to apply for undergraduate or graduate residence and Student Family Housing. Whether you are a first-year or returner, single or with a family, U of T St. George, Scarborough or Mississauga student, we’ve got something for you!

U of T's Residence Guarantee for First-Year Applicants
Residence is guaranteed for all new full-time students entering their first year of university in an undergraduate program for the first time, provided that they have indicated their interest in residence by completing the MyRes application on the next screen by March 31, and receive and accept an offer of admission by June 1.
Students must respond to all deadlines and meet all deposit requirements in order to maintain their eligibility.
If you missed the March 31 deadline, you can still apply and get on a waitlist.
