Canadian Association of College and University Student Services (CACUSS): CACUSS is a professional bilingual association representing and serving those individuals who work in Canadian post-secondary institutions in student affairs and services.

NASPA, Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education: NASPA, student affairs administrators in higher education, is the leading voice for student affairs administration, policy and practice and affirms the commitment of student affairs to educating the whole student and integrating student life and learning.

ACPA, College Student Educators International: ACPA supports and fosters college student learning through the generation and dissemination of knowledge, which informs policies, practices and programs for student affairs professionals and the higher education community.

Residence Life

Association of College and University Housing Officers - International (ACUHO-I): ACUHO-I is the professional association dedicated to supporting and promoting the collegiate residential experience.

Ontario Association of College and University Housing Officers (OACUHO) : Ontario's professional association for housing and residence life.

First Year Experience/ Transition

National Orientation Directors Association (NODA): NODA provides education, leadership and professional development in the fields of college student orientation, transition and retention.

National Resource Center for The First-Year Experience and Students in Transition: The mission of the Center is to build and sustain a vibrant campus-based and international educational community committed to the success of first-year college students and all students in transition.

Equity/ Diversity

National Consortium of Directors of LGBT Resources in Higher Education (US): The Consortium mission is to achieve higher education environments in which lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender students, faculty, staff, administrators, and alumni have equity in every respect.

Leadership/ Civic Engagement

International Leadership Association (ILA): ILA is the global network for all those who practice, study and teach leadership.

Institute on College Student Values: the Institute has become a national gathering for higher education administrators, teachers, researchers, and students who are especially interested in how colleges and universities encourage moral, civic, and spiritual development.

National Clearinghouse for Leadership Programs: NCLP serves as a central source of professional development for leadership educators through the development of resources, information sharing, and symposia.

Canadian Association for Community Service-Learning: CACSL supports, educates and networks to ensure the effective growth of CSL in Canada. Our vision is students, educators and communities learning and working together to strengthen individuals and society.

National Service-Learning Clearinghouse: Higher Education Programs (US): NSLC, a program of Learn and Serve America, supporting the service-learning efforts of schools, higher education institutions, communities, and tribal nations.

Higher Education/ Research

OISE/UT: Department of Theory and Policy Studies in Education, Higher Education Program: The Higher Education Group (HEG) specializes in the study of universities, community colleges, and other post secondary institutions, the relationship between these institutions and the broader society in which they operate, and the nature of what takes place inside these institutions. The study of higher education embraces critical examination, both historical and contemporary, of phenomena related to tertiary-level education, particularly tertiary-level institutions and systems in Canada. The HEG offers an (M.Ed.) degree with an emphasis on Student Affairs and Student Development.

Centre for Higher Education Research and Development: CHERD is dedicated to research and the professional development of faculty and administration in post-secondary education. It was established in 1987 as a centre for graduate preparation, research and publication in higher education and offers regional, national and international courses, seminars, symposia and publications.

The Canadian Society for the Study of Education: CSSE is the largest organization of professors, students, researchers and practitioners in education in Canada. CSSE is the major national voice for those who create educational knowledge, prepare teachers and educational leaders, and apply research in the schools, classrooms and institutions of Canada.  The objective of CSSE is to promote the advancement of Canadian research and scholarship in education.
