Graduation notifications
By now, you should have received an email from the Office of Convocation regarding convocation procedures (also, see below). You may have already received a copy of your Program of Study Assessment (or will soon, if it hasn’t arrived already). Finally, students who have requested and are eligible to graduate in June 2012 will receive notification confirming their degree eligibility by email at the end of May from the Faculty Registrar’s office. Be sure you keep your mailing and email addresses up-to-date on ROSI so you don’t miss these important communications.
Convocation dates and procedures
June 2012 Convocation ceremony dates and procedures are posted on the Office of Convocation website. If you plan to attend your ceremony, you must RSVP and order tickets for your guests within the appropriate time frame. If you do not plan to attend, check the website for information on how to obtain your diploma.
Owe fees from 2011-2012?
If you still have fees to pay from the fall/winter session, you should do so as soon as possible. Fees are due in full by April 30. See the Office of Student Accounts website for details on fees payment.
Service charges are applied to your outstanding fees until the fees are cleared. Also, you may be allowed to graduate and receive your diploma with outstanding fees, but transcripts and other confirmations of graduation will not be released until these fees are paid in full. You can always check your student account on ROSI.
OSAP loan repayment
If you received OSAP loans during your studies and you are not continuing in a full-time postsecondary program after you graduate, your loans will go into repayment six months from when your studies end (i.e. six months from April 2012). Check out the Admissions and Awards website for important information on paying back your loans.
