The Kickstart Program
Your first year of university is an exciting time, filled with new experiences and new opportunities, but it can also be a lot to take in at first. The Kickstart program is a fantastic opportunity to learn about the essentials while meeting other new students, building academic skills and starting to get involved in campus life.
Kickstart is for students who are looking for an alternative or supplement to their college or faculty orientation, who are unable to attend their full orientation, or who would just like to explore more of what is available to them at the University of Toronto.
Schedule of events
The Kickstart program is your customizable guide to campus life. By attending the engaging workshops and activities that interest you, you’ll meet some awesome people, learn some valuable skills, and gain a better understanding of the vast community that’s here to support you – from your first day on campus all the way to graduation and beyond. These events have been designed with you in mind, equipping you with the tools necessary to succeed at U of T.
By registering for the Kickstart program, you will be able to attend any of the Kickstart programs listed in the schedule of events. You are welcome to attend whatever interests you and fits in your schedule. You may choose to attend one, several or all of the events – it’s totally up to you!
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the program coordinator by email at email@example.com.
Other Orientation events
Kickstart isn't the only Orientation programming available to new students. There are tons of other events and workshops available to you to participate in too – some in the weeks leading up to Orientation, and some later in September. For more information, check out the Orientation calendar.
