CIE "What's your story?" Photo Contest and Exhibit
How it works
Are you currently studying abroad or have you recently returned from exchange? Are you an international or exchange student studying at U of T? You are invited to take part in CIE’s “What’s Your Story?” Photography Contest! Submit your personal photographs of your experiences abroad by the February 17, 2019 deadline, then invite all of your friends and family to vote. Winners will be announced on the last day of the exhibition and prizes will be awarded.
Submission period: January 1 – February 17, 2019
You may submit photos to the following categories:
- People and Places
- Cultural Learning
You can submit up to two (2) photos in total for the overall contest. Photos must be original and may not include any images showing inappropriate behavior. Please submit your photo(s) by email to firstname.lastname@example.org, with a minimum resolution of 300 ppi and at least 8x10 inches in size. Photos must be a minimum of 2MB to be accepted.
*ALL photos MUST be labelled in the format below otherwise, they WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
Format: TITLE, First and Last Name. Location. Program of Study. Institution. Category.
Example: SUNSET SCENERY, Nathalie Mejia. Santiago. Polisci. University of Chile. People and Places.
The last day for submissions will be Sunday, February 17, 2019 at 11:59 p.m.
*Please note that by entering this competition you are consenting to future use of your photographs by the Centre for International Experience and the University of Toronto. Use includes, but is not limited to, information booklets, pamphlets, website pages, etc.
Exhibition March 4 to 6, 2019 – cancelled
