Career Exploration & Education Request Form

Outreach Request Guidelines

Career Exploration & Education offers customized career support and employer referrals for groups of students in the classroom, in residence, within learning communities and clubs/organizations at the University of Toronto.  We ask that you submit your request 4-6 weeks prior to the requested dates so we can schedule and customize our content and/or refer employers to meet the needs of your group.  We can accommodate requests with projected attendance of 20 or more.  We may be able to accommodate smaller groups based on availability and/or can advise you on how to make the best use of our in-house programs, services and resources or contacts.  Requesting groups will be responsible for booking a suitable event space, promoting the event or session and completing a post-session partnership feedback form.

Please Note: Requests are honoured on a first-come, first-served basis and arranged according to the availability of our staff relative to the requested date and time.  We have limited availability during our peak time in September, October and January. If you have any question, please contact Karen McCrank, Lead Coordinator, Career Education at karen.mccrank [at]

Please note: In The Field connects a group of students and recent graduates with professionals working in a variety of occupations within one organization. During these visits, participants have the opportunity to ask questions and learn about the work environment, daily tasks, skills, and education required for each occupation. Prior to the visit, participants attend a preparatory session. At the end of the visit, they reflect on the experience through a group reflection and feedback survey.
