THE STUDENT LIFE ESCALATION PROCESS
If you have a concern about a student service located on the St. George Campus, your first step is to talk to the Director of the service.
If your concern has not been resolved after taking this step, your second step should be to contact the Executive/Senior Director of the service.

The Centre for Learning Strategy Support guides U of T students in the development of effective learning and study strategies, skills and competencies. We do this through workshops, programs, peer-led Study Hubs, productivity groups, one-to-one appointments and more.

I found that studying at a regular time every week helps a lot. The atmosphere and the facilitator were also extremely helpful. The reminder to set consistent and regular goals was important. It was a great experience for me: I found the Study Hubs a very useful space.
Meeting with [a learning strategist] got me started on scheduling my study/writing into 4-hour blocks throughout the day, with breaks. I found this strategy really helpful. I set attainable but ambitious goals and focused during those 4 hours on getting that chunk of work done, not stressing about all the other things I have going on.
Prior to university, I had never considered studying in a group to yield productive results….In spite of this, I wanted to find ways to be involved, and so I decided I would go and see what a Study Hub would be like. I discovered that being a part of a group setting may be more effective than studying alone on certain occasions. The Study Hubs facilitated my ability to finish coursework, and also ended up becoming a mentorship experience that made my first year at university more enjoyable.
