Community Days is your chance to get involved with local organizations in and around the St. George campus – starting September 18!
Whether you’re an undergraduate, graduate or international student, you’re welcome to take part. This weekly program is all about connecting with your community, building meaningful relationships and making a real impact.
You’ll be supporting two key initiatives: friendly visits with seniors at Kensington Gardens and helping improve food access by assisting with the Regenesis Farmers Market on campus.
Every other week, you’ll visit seniors at Kensington Gardens to play games, listen to music, make crafts or simply enjoy a good conversation. Your time and presence help reduce isolation for seniors and those living with disabilities – while creating positive connections along the way.
On the alternating weeks, you’ll help run the St. George Farmers Market with Regenesis. You might coordinate produce orders, set up stalls, promote the market, or talk with your peers about food sustainability and equity. It’s a hands-on experience where you can build practical skills and contribute to a stronger, more sustainable campus community.
Join when you can – your involvement matters!
