In partnership with Indigenous Student Services and led by the Indigenous Career Educator, Amanda Andrews – we offer culturally relevant and meaningful career supports for Indigenous students to explore what you can do with your degree, discover job opportunities in a variety of fields and industries, and consider further education options and plans.
Connect one-on-one with the Indigenous Career Educator to:
- Learn about career programs, services and resources tailored for Indigenous students.
- Review your job or further education application documents (e.g., personal statement, CV, or resume).
- Practice strategies for responding to various interview types and questions.
- Develop a strategy for making career and education decisions aligned with your values and goals.
- Explore how to apply to further education and navigate your decision-making process.
- Build a job search plan that considers your unique interests and strengths.
- Discuss how to navigate decisions around disclosing your Indigenous identity on professional documents.
- Reflect on how to incorporate your Indigenous knowledge, community connections and lived experience into your applications, interviews and career planning.
Open to Indigenous students and Indigenous alumni within 2 years.
