Registration to a workshop opens 2-3 weeks before its start date on Folio.
Completing the U of T St. George (UTSG) Job Shadowing Orientation will make you eligible to participate in the Job Shadowing program for up to three years.*
The Job Shadowing Orientation workshop is a mandatory training session for interested job shadowing participants that will review the program and help you gain skills to support your career exploration process. You will have the opportunity to self-reflect and apply your knowledge and skills in research and question development to help prepare you for your placement while developing career exploration skills for beyond the program.
*As long as you are a current student or recent graduate (within two years of convocation). See PROGRAM ELIGIBILITY.
Watch the Job Shadowing Introduction
Please watch this 15-minute introduction video about the UTSG Job Shadowing program prior to attending a Job Shadowing Orientation Workshop to get key information about the program, how it works, and what you can expect from the job shadowing placement experience. This will help you decide if Job Shadowing is a career exploration program you’d like to learn more about.

Considerations & Exceptions
If you completed the Job Shadowing Orientation workshop within the last 3 years, you do not need to attend another orientation to apply for the UTSG Job Shadowing program, so long as you are still a U of T student or recent graduate (within 2 years).
However, we do encourage you to attend an orientation due to the Job Shadowing program moving from CLNx to Folio this year in which there are some changes to the application procedure.
