CCCEL Student and Alumni Advisory Committee

The Co-Curricular Community-Engaged Learning Student and Alumni Advisory Committee (CCCEL SAAC) provides input on the direction of the Co-Curricular Community-Engaged Learning programs and services.

Discussion topics include, but are not limited to:

• on-going and new initiatives at the CCCEL
• effectiveness of programs and services offered at the CCCEL
• recommendations for next steps to enhance community engagement and community-based learning opportunities at the University of Toronto

All current St. George campus students and recent graduates up to two years are eligible to join. We are looking for a diverse group of participants and prefer those who have experience working or volunteering in nonprofit or public sector organizations or have experience in Community-Engaged Learning courses. You do not need previous experience with the Co-Curricular Community-Engaged Learning to join the committee.

CCCEL Student and Alumni Advisory Committee Meetings

CCCEL SAAC members will be asked to commit to attending three 90-minute virtual meetings throughout the year, and will receive an honorarium of $225 for their time.
