Industry Spotlights invite professionals working in industry-specific careers to participate in lightning talks and networking where they meet with students and recent graduates.
Industry Spotlights allow students and recent graduates to gain insight on how to get involved with and find work in various fields. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about positions related to the industry, career paths of current professionals, valuable advice and much more.
Previous Industry Spotlights included a focus on health and life sciences, research and the arts. There are many Industry Spotlights annually, each with a different industry focus.

Join a special event bringing together undergraduate and graduate students, and recent alumni, with industry leaders, researchers, and employers at the forefront of Canada’s innovation ecosystem.

- Learn about the labour market shifts that are shaping the defence ecosystem, and how these changes influence evolving career pathways and workforce needs.
- Gain insights into current and emerging roles, early career pathways, and the skills and experiences prioritized by employers in the defence ecosystem.
- Connect and network with industry representatives from Canada’s growing sectors in robotics, advanced technologies, research, and innovation.
